Before Buying
We want you to be confident and happy with your purchase. If you are unsure whether a product will meet your needs please do not hesitate to contact us for our advice before purchase. Under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 we are not required to offer a refund on a product that you change your mind about subsequent to purchase.
Prices
Unless specified otherwise, all prices listed on this Site are in New Zealand dollars, exclusive of GST.
Payment Methods
We accept cash in person, direct bank transfers or most credit/debit cards via Stripe. All online payments are processed securely.
Product Images
Due to manufacturer changes or photographic and screen limitations, actual goods may differ to a small extent in visual appearance from the way they appear on this Site.
Shipping
We will dispatch your order promptly upon receipt of payment using a tracked service, usually within 1-2 working days. The shipping time indicated at the checkout is an estimate not a guarantee. Kapiti Audio will not be held liable for unforseen carrier delays due to bad weather or other circumstances that are beyond our control.
Goods Lost in Transit
Please allow up to 14 days after your order has been dispatched for shipping. We will only consider an order to be lost after this period. If your order has not arrived after this period, we will offer a replacement or refund.
Goods Damaged in Transit
Please take careful note of the condition of the packaging when receiving your order. You should refuse delivery if any parcel arrives damaged and notify us as soon as possible. In this instance we will offer a replacement or refund. Please note, any damage or breakages are the customer’s liability after the product is signed for.
Faulty Goods
If you think an item purchased from Kapiti Audio is defective, please contact us first so we can discuss the problem and agree upon a remedy. In this instance we will offer a repair, replacement or refund.
Undelivered Goods
If shipping of your order is unsuccessful and the goods are returned to us, we will refund you for the cost of the goods but not the shipping and handling fee. If Kapiti Audio was at fault, we will offer free redelivery or a refund.
Returns
Returns are considered on an individual, case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to decline a return at our discretion. To be eligible for a return, the goods must have been purchased in the last 30 days, be unused and in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for paying the return cost.
All returns must be authorised by Kapiti Audio first. Please contact us for a returns authorisation number. Under no circumstances will we accept any returns without prior authorisation.
Refunds
If a refund is approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days.
